The Origins

Vanessa Nguyen is a jewelry designer specializing in silver castings and 3D modelling. Her journey into jewelry creation began during the pandemic, ignited by a fascination with sculptural designs and a love for horror films. Inspired by cinematic visuals and the idea of jewelry as wearable art, she began sketching early concepts that soon turned into a hands-on obsession. 

While studying Fashion Communications, Vanessa found a mentor who introduced her to the technical craft of becoming a jeweler. From torchwork to 3D printing and casting, she immersed herself in the process, blending raw technique with conceptual storytelling. Her graduate collection in 2023, 'The Monstrous and Immortal Armor', explored themes of transformation, protection, and identity — themes that remain central to Vanquish Jewelry today.
